As
a follow-up to its Essentials in Research Administration workshop,
Region I is offering a one day Current Topics in Research
Administration workshop designed for more experienced research
administrators.
The purpose of this program is to provide
participants with in-depth instruction in four core aspects of research
administration: institutional compliance responsibilities, proposal budget preparation, contract and subaward review, and post-award
financial administration. Each of these topics will be explored through
a combination of lecture, discussion, and case study analysis.
Who should attend:
Individuals with 3+ years experience who involved in research administration at a college, university or teaching hospital
or
Individuals looking for a broader understanding of key aspects of the field
